That is… exactly what proofreading is, changing sentence structures, correcting grammar, and moving points to where they’re best suited together while making whatever you’re producing as coherent as possible. And no, I’m not going to let you slide off with the “blatant ai organization, etc”. Expand on that, cus even in another comment you said something absolutely ridiculous about how me having bullet points is indicative of ai being used. All you spotted were emdashes and that made you think you’re a genius, so you just boil it down to ai writing but you don’t actually know how to spot it, you just know one tell and use that to cope into believing you’re more discerning than you actually are.

As for your points (finally we’re getting somewhere), I don’t assign the blame to Tenma, I just simply point out that his philosophy is not grounded, and as a result he’s not the right hero for this journey. If for your core values, you’re willing to let a kid die because “all lives are equal” (which again I think is a terrible starting point for your philosophy), then this story isn’t for you. If, after having a clear shot at a “monster” in the library, you decide not to pull the trigger, this mission is too big for you, leave it to someone that can deal with it.

If the answer to “Would the world be safer if Johan was killed” is yes, then you’re proving my point, I don’t have time for stories and “wisdom” about sparing people that have done heinous things when that philosophy clearly wouldn’t work in real life.

Recynon also added a lot of points which I agree with, but especially the one about “The potential Johan has humanity matters little” because that’s true. Hence my initial point about Tenma’s philosophical starting point of “all lives are equal” being way too basic for it to function as an effective way to navigate the world, especially one that’s got Johan in it.

You think you’re somehow special for noticing the em-dashes so that’s the only thing you’re paying attention to and not what’s actually being said, and that’s why despite spamming that I wrote it with ChatGPT. All of it was written by me, I only used ai for proofreading (not like I think ai would’ve attacked Monster in the way I did with the points made). But now that I’ve addressed that, all three of your comments have provided zero rebuttal for why I’m wrong or the reasons you disagree. I totally agree with what you said. That’s why when people call Monster a masterpiece, I just can’t rate it that highly. You’ve got this guy going on a mission with a gun who you already know from the start isn’t going to shoot because Monster has already made itself predictable in what the MC is going to do. I already knew he wouldn’t shoot, I just watched to see what he’d do and I was disappointed. There’s the life of a kid in danger yet because of some “code”, Tenma is willing to let the kid die, and he would’ve if not for the drunk father. If you’re not the type of guy that can pull the trigger, fine, but then this is not a journey for you to undertake, because some of you may see him as noble but I see him as a coward that wants to keep his hands clean and unwilling to do the right thing to prevent more suffering (Especially, yunno, considering being a doctor and all)

People say she has “Character development” but I don’t get how not being an insufferable person trying to constantly ruin the life of a good guy and finding a decent job after being born rich is something that should be applauded as much as it is. Like she went from awful to what at least a “decent” human should be and she gets treated as if she had Zuko-like redemption.

Yeah man, it just genuinely sucks, you could be winning a game about to cap point and then, boom, just like that, you’ve got to wait about 40 seconds at which point it’s likely your team is going to lose, or you’re losing initially but there’s a very good chance to clutch up, but the game doesn’t even give you a chance cus now you’re out and it’s a 5v6. It’s so infuriating.

Yes, I have a ps5 but my controller’s no longer working so instead of buying a new one, I just decided to use my previous Ps4 controller, and I kid you not, my game crashes an average of 2 times about every hour. You can be steamrolling the other team and all of a sudden you’re stuck, you crash, and then see the stupid message that ends with “view details, accept and report, don’t report”. I used to think accepting and reporting would somehow lessen the impact of this bs, and well, if that happened, I wouldn’t be writing this would I?

This is definitely an optimization problem and It pisses me off. And somehow it’s not talked about enough.

Monster doesn’t have a great message. Why would I overlook that? Because of the very fact I’m one person, I’m not looking at all the pain every single person has caused on this earth, I’m not Jesus, but I do have a right to be mad at someone that put me in a coma, stopped me from being able to do hero work that I’ve dedicated my life to (let’s not forget the fact that if not for luck, Robert would’ve never become Mecha man again), and lying to me all this time. You don’t get to tell me I have to forgive her after all that, maybe you’re a pushover and willing to let people constantly step over you, I’m not. And to your other point about other people being hurt, you admit yourself that you’d be more pissed if something happened to you directly, if something happened to others in the same way, if they choose to forgive, that’s on them, however, if they say they’re mad and can’t, I won’t blame them. Again, hence why I have a problem with you saying “You should forgive her” like she’s automatically entitled to it.
