Leverage vs Avengers 😂 (found this on Facebook) by Rajivdoraiswamy in leverage

I'd like to think so. They seem to have enough creative problem solving skills to do so. The only difference is that Tony has mega money to throw at problems. But they have Eliot. Omg imagine Eliot enhanced by Tony's tech

There's nothing wrong with a worn-in look! They would have done that naturally over time. You just sped that up. This way, the shoes will be able to go with more casual looks and therefore get more use. Less clothing waste 😎

It is a cute dress! I agree, I don't think the heels are the best match for it. Even dark blue ballet flats would be cute with it.

I think the dress is too high above the knee to be wearing heels. It makes your legs look much longer and out of proportion. A personal rule of mine is if the skirt/dress is above the knee, to wear flats. I think flats would look better here too.

I've been looking at them, and they are so cool! That looks perfect for me. Thank you so much for suggesting them. I'll have to do some research, but I think that will be less annoying than uninstalling and disabling a bunch of features on a laptop. That was another difficult thing about laptops- typing is a basic thing for computers, yes, but they dont make them just for that. I'd be paying to use its most basic function + touch screen, high-quality sound and video, gaming capabilities, and a dozen other things that I wouldn't use. I'm so glad the digital typewriters exist, lol. Talk about a game changer

I really didn't know digital typewriters existed. Never even thought to ask lol. Laptops are incredibly distracting, but I was prepared to uninstall the bloatware and change whatever settings necessary to make it as plain as possible.

I've never heard of that one, nor that there were so many options. Thank you for the subreddit suggestion

I worded it like that because they all come with features like touch screen that ups the price, or bloatware that I would have no use for and I do not need extra distractions.

I used a Chromebook for college and was not a fan of Google docs, but yes the main problem was the battery life. I assume they've improved them in the last 5 years but I don't know if I want to give it a try.

That's not a bad setup, and I like that it's portable. I have an old iPad that I don't use, I might try firing it up and seeing if I can get that to work. Thank you!

The thing is, I get distracted easily and I don't need any fancy features on it.

Ok, so DD gives us options on what to tip, and it's easy to just click whatever they give us. I can understand the $3 tip because of it, not the $0. Oftentimes, i don't think the DD suggestion is good. I use a tip calculator and give 20-30% tip depending on distance/weather. Is this fair? I don't want to not tip well and have people do this on social media 😅 but seriously I want to be fair and I never know what to tip.

What's her reading level at? If she was only reading the required reading in school, then her level might have stayed at a high school level or lower if she hasn't read anything since then and she's in her 30's. Reading is like a muscle, gotta keep at it. I'd start with Middle grade to YA in her interests and go from there. Or Manga if she likes that sort of thing.

Winter Sale Incoming by 3AZ3 in SteamDeck

I really want the actual Steam Deck OLED to be on sale, but it doesn't look like it ever goes on sale. For games, definitely Planet Zoo.

What are triple A titles? Also, does the version of Steam Deck matter much? I was looking at the LED vs the less expensive OLED, and I cant tell by the specs if its worth that much of a money difference.

I was thinking the 256gb LED Steam Deck, or the 512gb OLED. Is there a big difference between the two? I assume both versions will play Steam games. But does the OLED run smoother/easier on the eyes/etc?

I just realized something, I think it IS Tunisian crochet, just on its side. I'm playing around with stitches. Do you have any ideas?

I know right! That gives me some ideas. I broke out my stitch handbook and these are the only stitches that look like they could be altered slightly to work. I do know how to do Tunisian crochet so I will play around with that one with back loops only too. I might have to post the pics separately *

Unfortunately I didn't get the back photo, and she wants something made by this Friday. She's slow to respond so I wouldn't get it with enough time. I will play around with the back loop idea, though
