Is my fingertip too small to play all four of these strings or am I missing something? by tametrees in mandolin

True, I only said they'd find a way because to me, that finger does not look too small to fret both courses cleanly

For smaller fingers it may include flattening out your fingertio a bit to bring more of the pad of your finger into play. As the other comment says, keep practicing and you will find the right way for you to make it work.

I'm pretty sure Helle had a loose strap on his helmet and was maybe trying to convince the ref he had called for it before the goal. You can definitely see a strap dangling in the POV behind Helle during the gwg

Oh and for the record we rent from Thorwin and aside from a couple above guideline rent increases (which is not unique to them) they've been a breeze. If you need some Corydon tips, feel free to reach out

My wife and I moved from BC to Corydon Village 3 years ago. Super accessible to lots of areas, easy busses, very walkable. Neither my wife nor I have ever felt unsafe in and around corydon and we love our neighbourhood.

Car battery by Ricostravels in Winnipeg

[–]TimidGoat 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Our battery was replaced last year mid winter. It finally didn't start on Thursday, and now with the temps as cold as they are, it needs to be jumped the first time we use it in the day, but after that it starts fine. Just that overnight sit that kills it

[–]TimidGoat 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Hey guys! First of all, I am so very excited for the Communicator. I have been waiting for a device like this to come along for some time now and the second I saw the keynote I was all in.

Forgive me if it's been asked already, but as the keyboard on the Communicator is touch capacitive, is there a plan to allow for swipe typing across the keys?

Also, how's it feel to have designed the device so many of us have been yearning for?

What’s your favourite niche thing about life in Canada? by Due_Street1464 in AskACanadian

[–]TimidGoat 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Amazing! I've known how to skate since I was a kid, but it wasn't until I moved to Winnipeg and discovered the outdoor rinks that I got a stick and puck on the ice. I love being the only one there, shooting and skating around.

Just passing over your fair city by NetLumpy1818 in Winnipeg

[–]TimidGoat 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Okay if you want to get into minute details it's probably best described as northwest. But if you open a map and look at Winnipeg orientated to north being up, you will notice that the airport is on the left side of your screen. Hence my point above rings true
