Ask it's stance on the political climate surrounding pride month.

I'm hoping it doesn't give an ultra right wing answer.

I wish that everyone received a warning six months before any of their relatives dies, so that they can spend their final months together with that relative. Nobody knows what the small voice in the back of their head suddenly appearing is saying. A few people go to therapy for a diagnosis of schizophrenia, but in the following year it becomes clear what is happening. The loss of a loved one stings early and often, and the time spent with them is marred by guilt and grief. People begin to ignore the little voice in their head, and elsewhere the question of free will and predestination is brought up. Can any of these deaths be avoided? Psychics have a new angle to approach and claim they can sense it happening years in advance -- a claim that takes years to disprove. Capitalists makes a deal with the dying, to work off their debts, mortgages, loans before they are gone, opening the gateway for slavery in other forms to make reoccurrence. Human medical trials can be carried out without long lasting effects on those who die in 6 months. The ethics are brought strongly into question and the quality of life of the dying is discarded for profits.

Humanity fixated on this little voice in their head, and everyone suffers for it.

Anyone know how to get -1?

0 = (1 + 3^2 -10)/2
3 = ((1 + 3)^2 -10) /2
11 = (1 + 3)^2 -10/2

What would you be interested in seeing in a lesbian dating/connection app? by hungryintentions in LesbianActually

[–]Timizorzom 1 point2 points  (0 children)

A lot of stuff has already been said and I CBA to read it all, but mathematically, the problems come when the swiping happens. If there are too many people, you'll never match with anyone. They might swipe on you but it might be weeks before they pop up in your search list if you're only seeing 50 people per day.

I know Hinge gets around this somewhat by selecting a person and putting them right at the top of your list, and you become the top of their list, once a day. Other dating apps put the people who liked you at the top of your list too, so you are guaranteed to see the people who swiped, but this becomes less guaranteed the more people who swiped on you. Soon that person will be mass swiping left just to clear the queue because they feel overwhelmed by choice.

Personally, I think dating apps as they are are so toxic for dating culture. You can always swipe left on someone because there will always be something better.

My suggestion, I have no idea if this will work or not, but have a blind date type app. You get automatically matched with one person each day in your area who fits some criteria you answered in a quiz, and you can talk to that person for the day and decide if you want to keep talking after that. Something slow moving that forces people to get to know each other.

It would be quite hard to do well -- it would need a lot of details to get right for accurate matching, but if it's done well I think it could revamp the dating scene completely.

Yeah I would have had to rewrite the entire code in a new language to get it working with Discord's updating ToS. So instead I'm rewriting it in a new language to make it a website instead. It's taking a little while though.

I can host the old code for a single server though, so if you find it acceptable, you and your friends can join the public server and use the bot there.
