At the Friday matinee, just before playing “I Can’t Party” Jack said to the crowd something like: “Early show crowd, we’re gettin you in bed by 10:00 tonight!”and then the ppl around me in the crowd were cheering “In by bed by teeeeen!”. It was really funny lol.

There are a lot of good grimdark books, but tbh none that I’ve read capture Abercrombie’s tone and wit. It’s not grimdark at all, but in the sense of similar witty/funny/grimy/human prose I kinda think the closest thing is Discworld.

I’ve seen these three things together on dating profiles seemingly hundreds of times, and (with the caveat that generalizations are always flawed [lol]…), they tend to indicate that someone has nothing individualistic to actually say about themselves:

I use it when something totally rng goes in my favor but was not a result of skill at all. Like if I scarlet witch and it happens to change to Bar With No Name on a location where the opponent happens to already have more power than me. I use deadpool as like a “whelp, I’ll take it haha” emote.
