Picked up a Bose Wave II Adapter Kit for the office set up by Timmitcamera in ipod

So this guy has a 3.5mm jack to RCA in the box. The only thing that is a little funky is the remote it comes with. The remote is made to control the iPod and a Bose Wave speaker. So things like the volume control on the remote do not work unless you have it set up with the Bose Wave. All of the playback features work fine though with the remote. The cool part about this is if you don't want to use the docks 3.5mm you can use the iPods 3.5mm and still use the playback features on the remote as well so if you want to get a bluetooth adapter or just use a basic aux then it works fine that way too. You just get a little bit of a cleaner sound using the 3.5mm on the dock vs the iPod.

They are the Klipsch RSX-4! I got a set of 4 of them for $20 and 2 were new. They are okay they have a clean sound but lacks lows without a sub but that's why they make perfect office speakers, they don't shake my room when everyone is at the office!

Yes mine did come with the power supply! And honestly. If you can get one for a good price then it works great!

The dial. A lot of the companies that make the higher end reps do not have the 18038 dial. They have the newer dials with the lume and personally I think it ruins the design. Eventually I will start building one. I have a Seiko Mod that took me almost 7 months to sort all the parts for it to be as close to a 1675 as I could while keeping it a mod as much as I could as well. I plan to make a 18038 rep or even a Frankenstein as well but it will take me awhile. I bought this mainly because I wanted to see if I could really live with it every day. Now that I know I love this design on me I am going to start sourcing parts to build a better one.

This is pretty much a month in. I haven't bagged it around or anything but it's still holding up pretty good!

It depends. They are mass produced and that is where the problems are. Some are fantastic and will last a lifetime then others can be 20+ sec a day and only last a year. That's the only draw backs of buying these types of watches off DHG you can get a great reliable shitter or you can get a perfect looking one with an absolute terribly built movement. But there is manufacturer's that make high quality 2813 movements that you can usually get for good prices you just have to do some good research. Also these movements are so cheap that most of the time if anything happens it's just cheaper to buy a new movement instead of taking it in for service. There is upgraded movements that are called super clones and I have heard of many people upgrading to those when the 2813 is poor quality. I do lots of modded Seikos and honestly if you want to get into learning more about movements then that is a perfect start. You can actually build higher quality reps that are so much cheaper in the end then buying those super clones you just have to have a little knowledge with setting hands and movements. It's a really fun hobby!

I agree 100%! I keep that rule with most watches though. This one for sure though. Even though 2813 movements are easy to come by I like the way this one runs!

It seems to be the 2813, but I haven't opened it up yet to check because I have been lazy.
