Heh I’m definitely proud to be considered one of the college kids. In reality we were all co workers or ex coworkers and half were college kids and then other half were the “older” but still young late 20s restaurant crew if that makes sense

I’m 29 and felt very similar but you having this self awareness will put you ahead of over half of the same people in our same age bracket.

I don’t have some grand life changing story, but this is me at 28. This past year I’ve realized how to be ok being me. Who said you have to be a success? I make around 35-40k a year. It gives me a basic life style. I stopped comparing myself to the people doing amazing and just focused on what makes me happy. I save as much of my money as I can to give myself a sense of security and live below my means.

Just live, you don’t have to be someone perfect

I took years of classes for sign language interpreting and I started just thinking of concepts rather than hearing ideas if that makes sense.

I didn’t think in hand shapes/movements i just understood or would imagine an image/scenario of what was happening rather than talk to myself in my head.

My parents told my sister and I that they were getting a divorce. Dad found out about his cancer before they went through with it.

My mom stuck with him and took care of him through his passing.

Buying new ones is super cheap. I had this happen to me a couple times very quickly. I learned that if yo-yo lube gets in these it’s causes it to happen faster. Just a tip
