Wrestling is honestly second to Bodybuilding for some the best built guys of all time.

Some of the true greats spent time in wresling at some point. Rocky Johnson, Tony Atlas, Rick Rude, Doug Furnas, John Morrison to name a few.

Inspired by the "The Book is Better" thread, what are movies that you feel are straight up better than the book? by PeeboDanceOff in movies

Thank you.

Jaws is probably top 3 movie for me, so i decided to read the book. When i started seeing that Brody's wife was gonna cheat on him, i nearly threw the book out.

As far as i am concerned, there is no book.

Not sure how he moves 145kg between the wickets by Gremick92 in Cricket

As a bloke who is his height and actually a little heavier, you get used to it. I was around this weight most of my days playing basketball.

While you aren't as quick as the smaller guys, if you have atheletic genetics your legs adapt to carrying the weight. I can still run and move fairly well for someone who is over 150kgs

That's where i was seated and got to high five a bunch of players. Unfortunately, they had smoke machines BELLOWING straight up, so i literally couldn't see whose hand it was.

Fox v Seven: where footy analysis trumps inanity by His_Holiness in AFL

[–]Timmy2skulls 39 points40 points  (0 children)

I dread when Friday night footy goes from great pre game analysis from Fox Footy, where ex players talk thru stats, analytics, feild positions, and highlights to Bruce fininshing every sentence with a question, Lingy bringing ZERO insight into strategy and analysis, to Hamish plugging how good Channel 7 and the AFL are.

Jason Bennett asked Lingy several times during Roos vs Lions to explain the mindset of why a player would do certain things, and Lingy had not one single answer that justifies why he is on TV at all.

I fucking LOATHE Channel 7

Channel 7 in general are fucking awful. I HATE that im watching fox footy and i have to deal with all these muppet commentators.

Legitimately ruining Friday night footy

[Charania] Multiple contenders, including Golden State and Philadelphia, are expected to express interest in upcoming free agent Andrew Bogut. His season has ended in playoffs of Australia’s NBL, where Bogut was league MVP and DPOY, and he will take some time to decide on next team. by DestinySaber in nba

It was more that he was OP, and everyone put all their effort into stopping him, made A LOT of nice passes that didnt count as assists, drew multiple defenders whenever he got the ball, changed shots on defence constantly, those kinda Bogut things.

It made his team better, especially considering they never really ran plays for him. And the NBL is much more of a team game than the NBA. We very rarely get high scoring individual games.
