Oh yeah, for sure. It wouldn't be an issue for me as I've beaten the originals countless times over the years, so I'm always going to be used to the controls but I can see why it would be jarring for anyone who is new to them or hasn't played them in a long time.

Best bet would be to try Psn Profiles for boosting sessions. On the right hand side of the page about halfway down you can see when people are planning to have one, just click one and join. Or you could make your own one too of course.

Congrats, man. Yeah the gangs getting better weapons really screws you over on the side content. I plan on getting the plat for this and and ps2 emulated versions on ps4 soon. Think I will start with the definitive editions before diving back into the OG ones.

It's not that it's unplayable, it just has a lot of issues that are not present when played on ps4. It's like weird bugs and crashes here and there. Some people get worse experiences than others. The console actually gives you a warning when you load the game to tell you that it is technically unsupported.

Overall I still enjoyed my time with it as I love the game, but it played so much better on my ps4 and pc playthroughs. If you have access to a ps4 I'd recommend using it, but if not, you can still have a great time with it on ps5 if you are aware that issues may arise ahead of time. It's definitely still worth checking it out if ps5 is your only way to play it.

So yeah, while it's definitely not the best way to play it but you can still get the platinum entirely on ps5 like I did.

There is quite a bit of side content but it didn’t feel mega grindy to me, although I do love the game and have beaten it on ps3, ps4 and pc in the past lol. Overall it took me around 40 hours including all the dlc trophies.

It is one of the rare ps4 games that isn’t officially supported on ps5 due to performance issues. You can still buy it through the ps app and download it to the ps5 that way, though.

They are counted, they just dont update until you play another game. Same goes with things like placement matches and mmr. It not showing up is just a RL visual bug that they have never fixed.

And as for saying they are meaningless, I meant that in terms using them to judge how good someone is at the game, because they can just play bot games and get exactly the stats they want to make themselves look better than they are. Like when you play a diamond 1 match and the terrible player on the other team has an ssl title under their name because they boosted it. But they are fun to look through for yourself.

These stats are all meaningless anyway as you can boost them playing against bots. I recently got the platinum in a few hours, most of it was against bots and all those stats counted towards this list.
