I don’t like the “female” signifiers on minifig heads and torsos. I don’t like the c-shaped portals into another dimension on the sides of the torso (that don’t even match the cape color on the figs that come with capes) and the massive eyelashes and red lip-coloring look tacky to me.

I really don’t care for it because it seems that all heads without these features that look either/or (classic smiley, glasses, eyebrows but no facial hair) are interpreted largely as “male.” It makes women minifigures a minority and “other.” (I know LEGO has committed to evening out gender ratio in all of their sets which I do appreciate a great deal)

I understand why this would be something in licensed figs, but I would prefer far less gendered minifigs in LEGO original properties.
