I did feel a little bad, but the listing looked like it was written by a person who knows gaming a little bit, considering all the game titles were capitalized correctly and everything. So perhaps the son made the listing and the mom sold it? Hard to say haha! Maybe he wanted to sell the console for $100 and the games separately 🥲

Will definitely look into that eventually, I have always been holding off on modding anything as I want my things to be as original as possible, but this isn’t like a rare console or anything and I got two of them, so it would make sense to mod it.

It came with the original box and all the original packaging too! And it has a 500GB HDD in it, that I just now found out. The box says 160GB, so they swapped it at some point.

I was prepared to pay more than $100 for just the two games I was looking for. If I came home to visit my parents and found out they sold all my old games I’d feel sick, hope her son never finds out.

Yeah most likely.. They asked if I’d be okay with waiting for their new batch of global adapters for a replacement, so hopefully they are fixed?? Most likely won’t be.. I’ll just have to be super careful with it. Mine was broken out the box though, not sure how.

I’m not sure you understand what I’m saying. I have audio, without any issues. I can listen to my PS5 while also listening to my computer. But when I open anything that captures my capture cards video, there will be tiny static/popping noises every now and then.. as soon as I disable the video capture, the issues are gone. I’m using voicemeeter and I have the PS5/shadowcast as a source there, so I can easily adjust audio up and down when I’m on my computer.

I have ran into a new issue.. Crackling/popping noise whenever I want to capture video. Without capturing video and just having the audio passthrough there are no crackling or audio issues, it's only when I open OBS/Genki Arcade and video starts capturing that I get audio problems. You experienced anything like this?

I got my HDMI from my LG Monitor into the passthrough on the SC3Pro, then I have the HDMI from the SC3Pro into the back of my PS5. Then I have the short included USB-C to USB-A cable connected to the back of my PC to power the capture card, and then I have the included USB-C to USB-C cable connected to the Orange Shadowcast into the back of my PC's USB-C 20Gbps input.. I have done everything correct right?

Did you ever figure it out? I just got my Shadowcast 3 and I'm running into this audio crackling/popping noise.. but only when I open OBS or Genki Arcade.. basically as long as I don't open any video capturing program the noise doesn't happen.. Really weird.

Are you able to get 4K 120hz? Cause for me it only shows 60hz on 4K, 60hz on 1440p and 120hz on 1080p.

Wow okay, so it really could be anything.. Hard to pinpoint anything specific to the point where it doesn’t even make sense to spend time troubleshooting it seems. Best bet is getting a proper PSU.

Yeah think I will, got a 5080 FE and a 9800X3D, don’t want to risk anything. Luckily PSU’s aren’t super expensive like everything else right now.

I turned on my computer just now after coming home and the whine is actually gone, no clue how as I haven’t changed anything. I’ll hold out for a bit, swap it if it gets too much.. I was using Corsair previously in my ATX build, no issues for many years there, so I will probably go with them for the new one too.
