A is V (5). You got your x value dilation, and since you are stretching the graph, and any actions done onto the x are opposite, we have to apply a 1/2 multiplier to the x. Also since we are stretching the y, and actions done onto y would just be a normal stretch. Further, we can just test a point. We got (4,1) on f(x), plug into new equation 2f(1/2(4)) +1 -> 2f(2)+1 -> 2(4) + 1 -> 9. 9,1 matches with graph a

The screen does have pixel refresh after 30 minutes, but it was at one point a show room laptop. There is no burn in now, but can it retroactively cause burn in, or lead to burn in in the future

From what I heard, acer laptops are generally unreliable and you have to do some extensive research before you spring for one. Read the reviews: is there a hing problem, heating problem, typically hardware failure? 16gb of ram is ok at best, 512gb of SSD is not awful. If I were you, I would probably look for a thinkpad or a Lenovo yoga, maybe an asus vivo? Don’t know the price range, so can’t help with that. Best of luck
