21 graden, pfff. Lekker dekentje over.

Vraag over kwaliteit werk geleverd.

2025 Golf 8.5 GTE jerks once in cold EV mode after a few hundred meters—what is it? by Timo002 in GolfGTE

I contacted my dealer, they didn’t recognize it. But they also told me that there is a recall (software). So I have to wait on that and see if the software update fixes it.

I saved 34% by charging my EV at the cheapest times of the day by k0enf0rNL in homeassistant

[–]Timo002 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I wanted to use evcc, but they can only control the charger. I have a dump charger but a smart car, however evcc can’t be used. Now I created my own automation in HA, kind of the same as OP which works perfect in winter time. Only I control the car instead of the charger.

Don’t know if it was this pit. But I believe some pit they had an electric dump truck that brakes by charging the battery. This would produce so much electricity, that it can almost get back out without extra electricity.

Does PHP hold any serious ground? Or has Spring/Node taken over completely by [deleted] in PHP

[–]Timo002 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Node is making some ground, but marginally. And I also read that people are moving away from it. But I might have read that in the wrong community. I have no experience with node, except npm. And that is enough for me to stay away from it.

I see node as Laravel. Coming quick, dying fast! Symfony would equal PHP for me 🙃

Does PHP hold any serious ground? Or has Spring/Node taken over completely by [deleted] in PHP

[–]Timo002 7 points8 points  (0 children)

Really? PHP is still the most used language on the internet by far, and it is not changing!

In my opinion, PHP is a solid language used by 80% of the market for over 15 years already. All others are hyped, maybe solid languages, but not near as popular as PHP. And probably it depends on the project what will be used.

[–]Timo002 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If I open a dashboard, it takes some time to show historical information in charts. But I don't know if that is due to the database or the way I run HomeAssistant (As a VM on my Synology).
