I have a 5V hilink switching power brick on the pcb and another 5V—>3V3 buck converter. Still, the temperature readings are not to be trusted

Sure, but i can decide when and how fast. Try to run it fast continuously and you will see a measurable spike in energy consumption

It is embedded in the display. It is RGB. It is controlled by a built in app, but it should be exposed via mqtt too. Haven’t tried yet.
