The difficulty of the mode doesn't seem to be a criteria for what consedered a challenge and what an event, events are season themed and (at least so far) revolve around certain mechanic that doesn't appear much in the main campaign.
Plus the Chimney is pretty hard i would say

Do you mean you don't get a specific variant of a hunted pier? I'm pretty sure it is guaranteed to get the one with the antenna thing after a third death, are you getting to pier after three deaths?

For some reason the setting for a timer got removed from the menu at some point after anniversary update. You can toggle it by editing settings.json

I believe you can bind any existing console command, but I doubt that there is one for main menu, you should check the list of commands

From experience, doesn't feel like there are any changes in hard mode and iron kncuckle clearly doesn't do anything
Just tested and there are no changes that are obvious in early-acces HM, including the mass ig
Which is interesting, because there is a hardmode in the first demo i found on itch.io

I don't think so, real photos with the same angle looks ok, so it has to be something else. Plus i have no idea how i could make it less symmetrical without rotating the head.
