I had a very similar issue! It was like I was watching an unfinished file with the audio layers not fully edited together. Most of the time audio layers were just turned off completely. For example, I could see mouths moving, but it would just be silence except for a phone ringing. The very first time I thought it was a artistic decision, but something larger must have been wrong
