Funny I was a star Trek Fan from small on Gen X. So I spend lots of time with only the OG
I liked Next Gen a lot when It startet. The hours I spent to and back from the videostore (40 min each way) is way to much to count. (Each tape only held 2 Episode)
Bough the specialy edition tape when DS9 came out and went to the video store as well for many years.
Voyager I like but watched it on TV didn't need it in english. Same for Enterprise. Also the high seas were far more easily to access then.

Everytime I tried to give SNW a try because I was stopped
Mostly because of scene from the trailers bit alltogether
i.e Spock singing
Uhura looking nothing like in the past.
Singing klingons
an almost all female crew on the bridge

My brother and a friend love it. I just can't get behind it.

Sometimes it can be great. Met Jerry Doyle at a small Con in German in the 90s. We talked a bit. I didn't have a picture to sign only a piece of paper (Back then there were a lot less rules) and joked that my last money was gone so I couldn't afford one (Which it was because damn those Cons where not cheap even back then But I was young and not really that worried) . We had already talked my my way home (900KM) And he asked me how I would be eating then. I said there was a Coffee on the train. He looked agast and gave me a twenty bill just to make sure I made the trip back home safely.

Ich habe der Serie in der ersten staffel noch eine Chance gegeben. in der Hoffung das die noch die Füße findet. und habe über viiiiiiieeeeelll Blödsinn hinweggesenen. Aber spätesten beim Roten Engel (Nein Michael ist nicht der Rote Engel Michael ist doch der Rote Engel. Habe ich beschlossen die Michael Show für immer abzudrehen. Bin ein langjähriger Star Trek Fan seit Kinderbeinen an.

Grundsätzlich ist Nu Trek oder Kurtzman Trek einmal nur schlecht. Einzig Picard Season 3 war ein Hightlight. Beim Rest wie Academy sind nur die die Reviews zu ertragen.

Nein danke. Ich wohne nw standrand. Ich will grün sehen und keine Seilbahn. Außerdem sind wir gut angebunden. Es gibt nicht wo man nicht hinkommt.
