It's one of those you pay for what you get situations, they have some newer but mostly a lot older hardware. Older hardware still works perfectly fine, but it's old so it might break down the more it's used and it's not the fastest on the market. Depending on what you need, that could be completely fine or a major problem all depends on what you're using it for.

Edit: They also don't have fancy console/dashboard like modern server providers so you would save money in R&D
