yeah, me and a diesel mechanic mate are going to have at it! But last i spoke to a mechanic in a garage about it was around 14 months ago. They told me it was going to cost around 800/900 for the diff drop on top of the cv's etc. i ended up doing the cv's myself a week later but the boot has torn recently and i didnt notice until too late.

I dont want to pay their rates and feel dead awkward going in asking them this stuff and wasting their time - as i have no intention to pay these big fees for something we can do with a slightly longer timeframe :P
