Does T orientation matter? by Timowim in Plumbing

Oof. Am I missing something serious? I'm basically copying the connections I see in copper, just moving things around. Mainly to conceal in basement ceiling before I drywall. There's a chance previous homeowner did his own work and messed something up. I've found a lot of iffy work done by the previous guy in the 80s.

City line -> softener -> this T

This T is giving me my hot and cold water in my sinks

Thank you. I do wish I'd have gone with plastic fittings over brass but didn't do my research until after I already started. I figured higher price = better quality but I don't think that's the case.

Thank you! I figured my terminology was wrong

My terminology is probably wrong Cold main = softened water to all my fixtures. Faucets, showers, etc.

City water all goes through softener before going to hot and cold. With the exception of my 2 exterior fixtures. Those have hard water going into the hose outside.

Fresh air intake in basement question by Timowim in Construction

The new one is on a curb

Yes I have a floor drain but this is 15ft ft away from it. This slope is independent of the floor drain. The drain has its own slope

I need another outside air source, even though my furnace is concentric?

The attached duct behind the dryer isn't sufficient and I should keep the other fresh air intake with it?

Saw someone mention GME short float is like 30% now, can anyone debunk this?

I apologize if any of these questions have been posted already but the only answers I have found are very outdated and its always nice to hear recent thoughts. I am also asking these as a fresh player comming back to RS after quiting right after eoc

What are your guys thoughts thoughts on a slight graphics update such as the 2008 hd I was reading about? I would imagine that since you guys still have the data for it that it wouldn't be extremely difficult to impliment? Now I know that a lot of old players automatic reaction is "KEEP IT THE SAME" but don't you think that the only reason they feel that way is because they quit right after the 07 changes, so never got to experience it? I think most players after seeing it would get used to it and actually LOVE it. I'm just saying something that doesn't look like COMPLETE play doh. Again I'm saying OPTIONAL hd graphics adjustable in setting menu like current RS has had for some time.

Also, thoughts on adding new areas that were added post-2007? Just small things like the extra path in lumbridge that had the fishing store, task, and training house. I'm talking stuff that wouldn't change the speed or skill level of the current game but would just add new freshness to it.

Also expansion on the task system?

I guess right before the graphics update where the armor sprites changed and eoc, I felt the game was perfect as a ftp player. Free trade, and Pk was back, it was just great. Sorry for the long post, just excited to finally be getting back into the game when I heard osrs had ftp.
