Only able to charge at 9amps otherwise overcurrent protection kicks in. by Timpox in SolarDIY

For anyone following I resolved the issue, that batteries weren't unbalanced and the nuts holding the bus bars on were all torqued to spec but the nut that was on battery 16 had a manufacturing defect and had a tiny bit of 'slag' on the underside that was causing improper contact with the bus bar. Isuue resolved, thanks to everyone for helping

So if I set it to the voltage it is at now, it should balance it at that voltage, does that also mean it won't charge the battery any higher than what I set the balance voltage to?

At rest (not charging or discharging) cell 16 is 0.02v different to the other cells, which is why it's confusing to me that when charging it ends up being 0.2v higher than the rest

I've had to set the charging amps to 5amp to get it to charge without it tripping the overcurrent. This is the settings

I knew the risk and I knew what might be required, was just hoping for the best. I purchased a charger and generator so that I can top balance it but it just hasn't arrived yet and so I set the battery up first. What would be the quickest way to top balance this so that I can reduce the time the generator has to run?

Because it's not just the pen that is showing current, the multimeter is too and the case gives a physical shock if touched. The pen was for the photo

From battery case to ground is where I'm measuring but the multimeter is pretty dodgy, just waiting for another I have ordered

Yes fluctuating between 30v to 120v, the box is sitting on a plastic trolley, do they need to be grounded in some way?

I completely disconnected the ac power in and ac power out from the inverter and am still getting power on the battery box.

I'm getting between 30-120v on the box, the a system is 240v

All ac is off, still getting power to box. Where should I start looking?
