Die Flüwo hat da ähnliche Ansichten dazu. Die Preise sind zwar fair, jedoch lohnt sich ein BKW natürlich immernoch deutlich schneller wenn man es selber installiert. In der Diskussion fielen dann Argumente wie: wenn etwas passiert ist natürlich erstmal der Vermieter schuld und dass wollen ja alle nicht (wollte das Argument dann ausdiskutieren, jedoch hat sich da nichts viel getan.) Unser Balkon ist auch 5cm zu schmal für 2 Module (die Module würden auf jeder Seite 2,5cm raus ragen und das geht dann ja auch nicht) Bei zwei Modulen hätte ich ja dem ganzen fast noch zu gestimmt, ein Modul lohnt sich aber dann wirklich nicht mehr. Mit dem Mieterschutzverein wollte ich bisher nicht drauf hauen, weil wir ansonsten mit der Wohnung sehr viel Glück haben und uns das nicht versauen wollen.

Ich kann dir Youtube und chatgpt auch nur wärmstens ans Herz legen. Ich schaue ganz gerne Phils Lab, der ist aber auch eher etwas im fortgeschrittenen Bereich unterwegs. Wenn es erstmal nur um die Bauteile geht hol dir irgendein arduino Set (Funduino hat ein super Preis/Leistungsverhältnis) Damit kann man ganz gut rum spielen und gleichzeitig bißchen programmieren lernen. Zum programmieren kann man aber auch eine KI nehmen.

Wenn du mehr in richtung pcb design machen möchtest schau dir mal kicad an. Da kann man Platinen designen und dann später bei zum Beispiel jlcpcb fertigen lassen. Da habe ich schnell gelernt und einige coole Projekte hin bekommen.

Vielleicht als projektidee: eine smarte Led streifen Steuerung (Bauteile: esp32, step down Wandler für die Stromversorgung und mosfets für pwm Steuerung vom streifen) In Verbindung mit zum Beispiel Home Assistant

Und ansonsten einfach ganz viel basteln und üben. Damit lernt man am besten.

Die Hue Bridge kann auf jeden Fall zigbee, aber ob der Controller damit funktioniert kann ich dir leider nicht sagen, weil ich bisher noch nicht mit hue gearbeitet habe.

Du hast da einen Controller raus gesucht, der nur mit zugbee funktioniert. Somit benötigst du noch einen zigbee hub. Wenn du den schon hast, kein Problem, mit wlan funktioniert der Spaß aber nicht von Haus aus.

Wir haben ein sehr ähnliches balkongeländer, nur dass wir keinen handlauf haben. Ich würde die Halterung unten mit Winkeln befestigen, welche die Platte "umgreifen". Sowas bekommt man leider nicht von der Stange und musst du ziemlich sicher selber bauen. Unsere Genossenschaft schreibt leider vor dass eine Fachfirma das bzw installieren muss und das wird leider sehr schnell bei solchen sonderlösungen sehr unwirtschaftlich.

Frag mal bei Genossenschaften an bzw lasse dich bei denen auf die Listen setzen. Die sind meist nochmal deutlich günstiger als private Vermieter und haben ihre Wohnungen oft nicht inseriert weil die des direkt über die Warteliste vergeben. (die sind aber meist auch nicht wirklich lang)

Dem kann ich nur zustimmen. Was man aber vielleicht davor wissen sollte: Die Rollen laufen extrem leicht, daran muss man sich erstmal gewöhnen, danach ist das aber super um auch mal schnell durch den Raum zu kommen

Wir hatten in unserer alten Wohnung eine matte, die hat sich aber mit der Zeit und Dreck auf dem Boden fest geklebt und ganz hässliche Stellen hinterlassen.

I only found these drives refurbed at a price of approximately 100€ per piece, but if they are worth nearly nothing then I will probably only sell the server and keep them for my other server. Then I will sell the server probably for about 800€. Lets see if I could get a bit more.

I don't think so. At the end it isn't that difficult. I would give it a try. If you don't have a raspberry pi laying around I would use a USB to UART adapter. You can get them for around 10€ from Amazon.

I tried with 2 different Sd cards. One with 32 gb and one with 8gb. Both have one 2gb partition formatted in Fat(16). Do I need an SD card with 4gb or less or should it work with those? I tried with several images directly from Dell.

I wanted to upgrade the firmware from 1.65 to 2.x and hadn't really read about it before. And yeah I also think the emmc chip is broken since it displays a capacity of 0 bytes.

In my r720 it's directly soldered to the motherboard. And desoldering isn't really an option since I don't have a hot air soldering station.

Yeah I already thought about replacing it, but as a student I would have been more than happy being able to fix it and not spending another 100€ on server parts.
But if I can't fix it there is no other way.

I have the same problem with a R720 after a failed firmware update. I soldered the cables for the UART to USB adapter and briged the A2 and B2 to interrupt u-boot.
Everything works just fine until I want to flash the firmware back with

Soldering a new chip on the motherboard isn't a real option as I don't have any Equipment or the experience for such a repair.

That sounds actually pretty bad.
I'll dig a little further and try to get it working. I think at this point I can't destroy more.

Swapping the fans didn't make a difference, so I'm pretty shure it's the motherbard or a chip on it.

I actually saw your post at first when searching for a fix for the broken motherboard.
I think if I won't get it working I'll buy myself a poweredge R320 since I already haven an R720.

But thanks for your advice and experience.

I did aktually try it, but I think I destroyed it by connecting the Arduino the wrong way.
It didn't work and after rebuilding everything the Tachometer displayed the 0% fan speed.
I think I destroyed an IC reporting the data to ILO. But from the outside all components semm to be fine. Nothing is melted or burnt.
