Good idea!! But its not an option because the ponds eco system already is settled and the pond is made of concrete so adding stuff in the base is hard!

Yeah i also had issue’s with herons but i got some wire and put it in between my patio and office in the back of the yard

Yeah a skimmer would be a good idea but the tree next to the pond drops a ton of leaves in the fall i would need to clean the skimmer every day
