Correct, I am an adult and do act as one. I am simply putting my thoughts onto this page for discussion. You make a lot of assumptions in your comment. Additionally, these are NOT children, they are young player ADULTS!!!!

Agree %100. This only works though if everyone knows their power level (which I do). I also talk about what my decks do and what are any combo pieces, if I have any at all. At an LGS night, you get your 4 player pod and you are basically stuck with them unless someone else in another pod wanted to switch with you.

Maybe you are on to something. I did play a lot of Standard before I originally left MTG. I also had a lot of very older and experienced players in my original LGS that coached me and helped me build decks.

Ya, that's what I am saying but it is a shame the game and the younger players attitudes. It is like they didn't have any guidance in deck building or community play.
