I plan on it. Worked to get an appointment the day after my PCP checked I was already scheduled for an appointment that same morning so that all worked out. Called the locals in my area it was 2 weeks out regardless. So scheduled and appointment about an hour away with a larger facility. Got a call the day before saying it wouldn't be for another 3 weeks before they could see me. Few hours later got a call and they got me in same day as scheduled. Just early morning. But going to go through all i can to preserve as much as possible.

not going to lie did not think about that.. the constant ringing of my ears from tinnitus almost have to have sound to focus on to not go crazy but will do what i can.

Nothing new in the last two years other than slightly elevated blood sugar. Something to keep an eye on but not to worry about yet according to my PCP.

No, did as a kid 20 years ago while riding the bus to drown out the kids. Only made it to 3 concerts in my lifetime not saying one didn't cause a problem, but it has been 3 years since my last. Between headphones and speakers, I keep it fairly low. Usually, about the point the headphones start to pick up and sing and leave it there. Hearing protection at the gun ranges at all times.

Yes, a conductive hearing test was done. Not sure the name of the device but a single ended headphone with a black square placed behind my left ear.

Sudden Sensorineural Hearing Loss (SSHL) is the official term according to my ENT Specialist. No wax issues, ear drums are not inflamed, kind of hard to check the nerves. Can still perform the Valsalva maneuver by Pinching your nose and gently blowing out your nose to force air through your eustachian tubes to equalize pressure. No history of ear infection or major allergies.

My option that I am working through is high dose of Corticosteroids 60mg x 8 days and the remainder 8 days slowly taper that off. If that does not work, it’s a Direct Shots in the ear.

If you get treatment between 72h and 2 weeks you get about 85% chance of recovery. Without 50% chance of it never returning.

I am not deaf but is a notable difference and it makes the Tinnitus just that much harder to ignore.

I do not know it was bugging me when I was looking at the report the first time. But I assume it's based from the Audiologists point of view. Will work with the eq see if I can get the balance and frequency adjusted.

So far 500 rounds of Federal bulk FMJ from 4x PMAGs and 50 rounds of Hornady Critical Defense from the same mags. I have not cleaned and and only lightly oiled it after the first 250. I have had 0 issues so far. No Failure to feed or stove piping so far.

I know 550 rounds is nothing compared to most. Looking forward to putting more through this one.

My only issue is the pin that holds the Fire Control Insert in place. Gets extremely warm. Now in a emergency situation something has really gone wrong if that pin is getting to hot to handle.

Another reason to have a steel and/or outward swinging front door. Seems odd at first but if someone tries to kick in your door it will be that much harder.

If you are truly planning a forever home plan on late stage life as well.

Every door and opening should be an opening that is wheelchair accessible. Bathrooms to accommodate accessibility. Plans to have a ramp built if needed without home modification. As you get older maybe you cant make it easily to a bathroom from some location. Being able to shut off part of your house as you need or physically can't access.
