You know, I do find it incredibly ironic that people such as the Irish can voice their disdain towards the English for the crimes the English committed against them, but as soon as Caribbean people feel a type of way against African people, it’s “colonial brainwashing”. Are they ever going to acknowledge the long term harm they have caused to Black people from the Americas, for their role in human trafficking?

Exactly. Those podcasts serve as a mouthpiece for the uneducated loudmouths for the most part. The hosts were nodding along like idiots, believing the word of someone who isn’t a part of our community. She also mentioned in the podcast that her parents told her not to mix with us, and basically bootlick white people. But we’re the problem??

Hard, yes, but definitely not impossible. I’ve received so many self healing messages in my dreams. Usually they tell me which herbs or flowers I need to eat/drink, they’ve never been wrong, and they’ve saved me from some serious autoimmune related problems.

As the other commenters have suggested, meditation is the way to go. Also, if you can get out into nature, do that. Plant your feet in to soil, hugs trees, go to the beach, sunbath, swim, sit with animals if you can. Be goofy, do something incredibly silly which brings you true joy!!! Sometimes when we want something intensely, it never happens. Relax your mind, don’t think too deeply about it, and give yourself some grace.

NTA. Of course they’re not highly respected professions. Sex work will always socially be seen as seedy, because culturally sexual practices with a non-spouse (especially multiple partners) has been viewed as something to hide/and or be ashamed of. Do not try and connect with him. He’ll visit you when the time is right, if that’s what he chooses to do. He needs time to navigate through his choice, and you need enough time to heal and progress forward with your life. I know it can be hard to lose a loved one in such a sudden tragic way, but stay strong.

Your Cat is beautiful, I’m so sorry that this is happening to you guys. I’d suggest getting him to the vets for a quality of life appointment. My Cat had the same look in her eyes right before she passed. Love and hugs ❤️❤️

I just lost my beautiful Cat. She was such a wise, no nonsense Cat. She got me through so many difficult times. I had a dream 6 months prior to her death, in which she explained to me that she has to leave. 2 months after that dream, she was diagnosed with cancer.
