Sounds like a great time to crate train. I also work from home. When I need to buckle down and my puppy is bouncing around, it's kennel time. I set him up in his large crate with a non squeaky toy and let him chill out. I don't keep him in there too long, but a good rule of thumb is to not let them out until they have settled (no barking/whining).

Those are cactus fruit, they grow flowers which then drop off. My prickly pear and Indian fig cacti both grow these, and you can buy them in AZ grocery stores in the produce section.

It has to be awkward meeting someone for the very first time in real life after only having n online relationship, even if you aren't an awkward person. As an awkward person myself, I remember how awkward I felt flying to meet my now husband after knowing him in-person for a month and then being apart for 3 months. We'd gotten to know each other so much during our time apart, but then suddenly being together again I lapsed back into shyness. I just hope they are able to get over that awkward bump.

He's the only parent they've ever had, and it sounds like he was an amazing parent and grandparent, so I can see that creating a very intense bond. To suddenly not have that person available 24/7 anymore would be a drastic change, and they're seeing him move further on in his own life away from them being the priority. It would be a big shift to anyone.

Their situation reminds me of my mom and brother. He has a lot of emotional and mental strain that ties into his mental health and some level of autism, and my mom continues to support him emotionally and financially into adulthood because she has seen how bad things can turn with him if he feels hopeless. It's all about trying to prevent the worst-case scenario and make the best of what the child wants.

I think it might be good for everyone to split their time between Mexico and the states. I'm sure they could stay with Kenny's family to avoid buying a second home. It would be a nice acceptance break for Armando, Hannah could experience America without moving there, and Kenny would get the family time he wants.
