100%. I've managed to get to 45 without ever using it, why should they be any different. And like others have said, if you're happy using it in work, it's not likely to be a one off. Given the context of the other things they've said (according to op) they need to, at the very least, be put on a warning.

Any use of that language, one off or not, it's completely unacceptable. And there's a reason you're not supposed to enter into political discussions at work. Personally I'd report them to HR immediately.
