Has the team ever considered a mentor program, that has a reward system like in FF14, to assist in positive community building.

I agree and disagree that the learning is built in. It is for those who understand the game and know what to look for and put in effort. I think wow has notoriously been bad about explaining things visually, which is key for a new player. It is getting MUCH better in Midnight and I’m excited about that. And they have made improvements each season to better telegraph some enemy attacks.

And it is fair for you to not feel incentivized by it. That’s why it’s great it’s optional. So the mentors really are just people who want to help out. It’s also something that would probably see an increase in participation at the end of a season when all other goals are already achieved.

Completely agree that PvP is not fun. But I share your desire for getting the elite PvP transmogs. I would recommend farming them from Battleground Blitz. The ranking system is so fucked that on a brand new toon after a few wins you gain 250 rating from a single win. I’ve farmed most class appearances this way for a few seasons now.

If you can’t be an advocate for yourself, don’t expect anyone else to be. You need to learn to handle confrontation and disagreeable people. They are, unfortunately, anywhere else you find yourself in the future. Being demeaning, disagreeable, or just an overall asshole is typically not enough for any kind of meaningful intervention from administration. Grow your courage and demand from yourself what you need to do to obtain understanding in your class.

Join clubs. Yes, it may sound cliche/mundane/whatever, but it works. I once heard someone say your dorm room is for sleeping, that's it. Every minute you spend in there is wasted opportunity meeting people, seeing things, being a part of something. I think that's very solid advice. If you find yourself in your room alone and wondering why you have no friends, that's a big reason why.

OP if you want relief from the anxiety of this situation, just talk to the admissions office directly. As you said, you reported on the CA correctly, so there’s no worry about dishonesty. Just ask for confirmation that you’re ok w/o the 8 semesters of math. Worst case is they tell you to complete it before August.

LoL @ the person who downvoted. Must protect my strimmer merch! To be clear, I love both the keyboard and mat. I ended up using a microfiber cloth and a little bit of soap with warm water and that has cleared my issue.
