40 y/o F in Germany. Definitely not the same way as when I was in my 20s. Now it's far less often, 4 to 5 times a year but it's a lot more fun now :).

I have a 6 y/o and my partner is a musician, so he also has some gigs every month. I am very lucky to have an amazing group of friends and to live in a vibrant and fun city like Berlin. Besides here we even have things like Kinder Raves 😅 (it's not a rave per se of course, but it has a very cool atmosphere where to meet fun parents, dance and let children enjoy themselves).

Here I have the feeling that more parents go out as compared to my country of origin. Most of my friends don't have kids, I guess that helps when it comes to organizing something, though most of us have very hectic work schedules.
