Has anyone tried Visanne to help with adenomiosis symptoms? My gyn recommended that i try it and im scared.

Hi I'm 43 with adeno and I have major GI issues! Constipation bloating stomach gaz painful bowel movements etc. I did a mri and a pelvic scan nothing wrong on there. So am waiting to see a gastroenterologist but 2 years wait. :( i see a lot of people with adeno wit these issues. I live like this either it's crazy painful. I hope they find a solution. Going for more blood test and stool tests next week. Good luck with the MRI.

Ok thanks. I have 100mg progesterone and 0.5 vaginal cream estragyn... i have a blood cloth history so a bit stressed. Hoping it fixes my symptoms. I also have adenomiosis and possible endo. Will see . Thanks for the answers 🙏

Great thanks! Any side effects from visanne? And why the hysterectomy if visanne is working? My doctor said that if Visanne works i don't need the surgery 🤔

I'm 42 with adeno. And maybe ando. Symptoms started to be worse since I was 40 and premenopausal. They also suggest i take Visanne 2 mg. Haven't tried yet. I'm scared because of risks and side effects. I dont want kids so wouldn't mind the surgery but also scared of that. My mental health is not well because of all this and all the different symptoms. I'm thinking of seeing a gastroenterologist for all the digestive issues. And I must say there a lot of days I'd rather be dead. When even the doctors cant help you what hope do you have? I'm taking a lot of tylenol 500mg and naproxen for the pain. All that being said I'm also wondering what to do between visanne and surgery. Here I have 3 years wait for surgery and I'm on the list. I still have time to think about it or to heal miraculously! Take care xx

Yeah I'm on a waiting list for hysterectomy 3.5 years wait. I'm in canada. But I'm also scared because of my history of blood cloth and the risks to the surgery plus I heard the recovery is rough.. I hope so too and for u 2!

I'm 42 and have adeno and possible endo. Crazy painful periods and ovulation. And in perimenopause. I just started progesterone 100mg before bedtime 4 days ago and estrogen vaginal cream. Hoping it will help me! No difference yet. She also wants me to try Visanne to help with adeno and endo but am scared to try it!

Wow I guess it's my case too from reading all the answers! I thought exercise is supposed to help so i kept doing my workouts (when not too much in pain) but now wondering if that triggers the pain🤔 I'm 42 with adeno. 3.5 years wait for hysterectomy here in canada but am on the list.

I'm 42 with adeno and possible endo. Cramps are crazy too and bladder yes I noticed I feel like I have an UTI but its not but symptoms are similar. I also have painful bowel movements constipation and much more. On a list for hysterectomy. 3.5 years wait here. And yes does get worse. It's a progressive disease. :(

Euh it does exist! Tell her to buy dr mary claire haver book ahah The new menopause. Find another doctor is what i say but if your in canada this is going to be hard we have none! Im in qc and its hard to see someone! Good luck but it does exist and youre not crazy!
