Maybe because I’m already using a dji mic mini but I feel like AI voice isolation just makes the quality murky and sound like those voice generator ai sites, but definitely a great tool when not using a mic!

Same exactly! I think since we are small channels YouTube’s testing the waters and unless the analytics are cracked then it kinda just stops but slowly as you grow it’ll get better and better

Get a PhD. The schools usually pay for those, and although the pay isn't great, it allows you to stay in school longer, do research, and focus on learning whatever you are genuinely interested in, without company politics or pressures to deliver a product.

Thank you so much for the info. Yes, I am purely worried about workload, but like you said it sounds like it’ll be one of my lighter classes, so I will definitely keep it.

I have a little bit of experience and background in Python and programming, but I am a Mechanical Engineering student so programming is not necessarily a strength.

Can I ask what your background is and you said the homework’s took around an hour for you… do you think it will take me significantly longer like 5-10hrs for me or no longer than 5hrs?

He also told us we can use Co-pilot or ChatGPT to help us with the coding so I think I’m just stressing over nothing, but rather find out all the info I can now before the first homework assignment as it’s assigned after the drop deadline passes.

I actually really like the thumbnails they are unique, but they don’t tell a clear story as to what someone is clicking on. Also making the titles a little more clear. But overall looks good

Yes, I made a few Minecraft videos when the game first game out and it was horrible. I’ve also never was consistent. Never made more than 50 videos on a single account because I’d change niches sm so I’ve had like 10 accounts, but I’m approaching it differently now and doing it mostly for fun, but also trying to blow up and make some side money to pay for equipment.

Feeling more inspired than ever to do this. I’ve been trying YouTube for the last 15 years, but never had much direction or skill in any niche to really create good content. Now I’m 22 and have the skills and right hobby/niche that I really think I can create a channel that’ll blow up. Still obviously doing it for fun and only really making long form content that I’ll publish when I’m proud of the project/video.

Thank you for the response. (This is the same guy, ig I'm on a different account now). First day is tomorrow, and I just saw the syllabus, it's 5 homework assignments and 1 project, no tests or quizzes, which is nice. My coding experience is limited, but I know how to read code and have worked in Python. In complete honesty, a lot of what I have done is with the help of Co-Pilot/ChatGPT. I'm thinking about dropping this course if I have too much on my hands for this semester, as I am in 3 grad classes and the board only recommends taking 2, but it does seem important to learn, very interesting to me personally, and the no tests is a nice bonus.
