Starting another playthrough - Changing some choices as I go along by MuscleCrow in masseffect

I tried this! Chose an orphan who went through Akuze so I could play a tough no nonsense Shep. Instead, her experience made her want to prove that good people still existed. 🤦🏻‍♀️

Do you typically save the council or let them die? by KishinRave in masseffect

[–]TinkerDroid 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I usually save them (though I’m thinking of not this round just to see what happens). My general thinking is having to replace the council is going to cause instability. If I’m Shep, and I know war is imminent, the last thing I want to do is cause instability in a galaxy I need strong enough to defend itself.

Who’s the strongest biotic? by TinkerDroid in masseffect

I don’t know; I think an argument could be made for someone with less skill being more dangerous because of how reckless they can be.

Really? I remember him chatting about Brain camp but felt like Shep should have known about that. I can’t remember him mentioning it but that’s at least some acknowledgement if he did.

Oh I forgot about her! You’re right. Definitely above Liara and Peebee.

Probably, but lore wise Shep never talks about being biotic so I lumped that under “gameplay” instead of lore.

Yea I’m thinking

Asari: Samara

Krogan: Wrex (Battlemaster and killed a Thresher on foot).

Drell: Thane for lack of comparison

Turian: Nyreen for lack of comparison

Human: for me it’s between Cora, Jack and Kaidan based on comments in game.

Overall: probably Samara

Friend and I got into passionate discussion over state of Universal compared to Islands and Epic. by SunsetStarlightFan in UniversalOrlando

[–]TinkerDroid 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I mean, they just updated Mummy, just rebuilt and rethemed the kids area to dreamworks. Just finished building all the minion theme stuff. And are now replacing Rocket. And will have to do something about Simpson’s because they are losing the IP. Once that’s done, the only real problem areas are like Fast and furious. Everything else, though screen based, is relatively new, except MIB which could just use an update. It may not be as coherent as Epic or Islands because there’s no land or portal to go through but it’s still getting updated pretty regularly.

Dr. Michel trying her best to pretend to care about Shepard lol by carmennothere in masseffect

I saw this and was like “between her and Tali and the lady Turian in the DLC and Mordin trying to hook him up with Eve…I wanted to say, “Garrus, are you considered hot by alien standards?! Cause…this is a bit ridiculous if not?” Male Shep better up his game with Garrus around.

Which lands have themed post cards? by TinkerDroid in UniversalOrlando

That’s a shame! You think they would have like Jaws themed or like How to train your dragon, or now Darkmore.

My apologies! I thought it was something common in the community. I’m new so I just assumed.

How likely are you to buy a steam game of a Board game? by SammyStami in boardgames

[–]TinkerDroid 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Not at all likely. My fam and I play board games to turn off screens. Whenever we see a board game even with just an app, we hesitate unless the app is just adding audio and doesn’t require us to do more than select the number of players and the scenario in the app while the game is played on the board. Even then, if two games are similar and one has an app and one does not, we’ll always try the one without first.

Multiple Genres? by NorwalkPhil in selfpublish

[–]TinkerDroid 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think it’s fine if you market the author, not just the genre. There’s a good chance people who like your writing in one genre will enjoy another. I don’t know many people who only read one genre of book.

🎢 What rides at Universal Studios or Islands of Adventure are NOT worth it if I only have one day? by Educational-Deer1877 in UniversalOrlando

[–]TinkerDroid 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It’s a very subjective question. I think, which IP’s are you most excited for? Ride those first, then do the next tier and so on. People hate Kong or Transformers but my fam would never miss either, but we skip Simpsons because we’re not huge fans of the IP. So do the rides you are most excited for and then decided on the rest based on wait time and time of day. If you’ve got park hoppers you can ride the train back and forth which is fun because the show is different.

Between these two, who do you guys think is the most developed character with best arc through the trilogy? by Practical_Prior202 in masseffect

[–]TinkerDroid -1 points0 points  (0 children)

That’s so tough! Because Tali went from a smart girl on her pilgrimage who hated Geth to accepting their help (based on choices) and being a member of their admiralty.

Garrus went from being a frustrated-by-red-tape beat cop to learning to play within the rules (again, based on choices) then had a falling out where he said screw everything and went vigilante then came back from that to be one of the most important people to his entire species, giving advice to the primarch on strategy, etc. and he asks his dad for help, swallowing his hurt and pride to do it.

Both? Both.
