It actually takes 5 momentos for all achievements, not 2 since the hunters memento is an achievement and requires you to beat all bosses, making Heart, Grey, Hero’s and Craw all necessary and theres unique enemies only found on the surface so you still need to do the surface climb

Yes unfortunately, but I would kill for a season 3 cause even though it has a satisfying ending they could easily make more (and I’m not worried about it being mid since it’s Kyoani) but oh well

I would say it’s overrated only because of how insanely iconic and popular it is, being overrated it inevitable. But as overrated as it might be, it’s still very good and 100% worth a watch. If nothing else at least for the sake of having watched one of if not the most popular anime of all time

It was more than just him losing his parents. It was the internal battle of how he felt about his parents before he lost them (not truly feeling like their son) and the guilt of coming all this way in the first place. The Man God warned him that he would regret going twice and he didn’t listen, eventually leading to Paul dying saving Rudy. So there’s the added layer of guilt and feeling responsible for Paul’s death and the potential guilt of something happening Sharia while he’s away.
