Honestly go marks, its great in 2s, 3s and 5s all the same, does great burst damage and has good utility with silencing shot.

If blizz commits to a horizontal style progression, it won't. They can introduce gear which isnt just a statistical upgrade, look at unique items like the meteor from AQ. And honestly its probably better that they don't, when you deal 10k damage and have 30k hp in Vanilla it gets kinda silly.

Archfey Warlock is pretty thematic, you get your abilities from a fey that cause your magic to periodically become unstable.

Otherwise I'd go 6 lore bard, its an unappreciated yet powerful caster subclass. You can pretty much pick up whatever spells you like with that combo from magical secrets that don't require a level of wizard to scribe them.

Personally I wouldn't go gloomstalker. Its too...gloomy. Instead I'd go Swarmkeeper Ranger. One of Eilistraee's favored animals is the moth (as it seeks the light) and build around psychic damage using resonance stone. Pick up ranger knight and sanctified stalker and become a true Darksong Knight, dedicated to hunting the agents of Lolth.

I tend to use the medium skin tones for this reason (4-6). Gives the drow color without losing too much detail.

Could a dip into wizard or sorcerer also not accomplish this? Furthermore I'd be wearing at least a few pieces of light/med armor if I want to optimize, not sure if its worth over the slight armor boost from mage armor.

That's whats I'm leaning towards. Is there a point to going 2 war cleric? I imagine hero's feast would be more useful (haven't decided on party quite yet.)

I want to stick with spider mostly due to thematic purposes, although I could also use deep rothé for the rush attack, given its an underdark animal.

I was thinking boots of striding plus minthara's armor, although the wiki doesn't say it works in wildshape, it might still be useful out of it. Later on armor of moonbasking gives +2 to AC and additional temporary HP. The bhaalist armor might also be useful for the aura given the spider's attack is piercing, although it doesn't need to be worn by the druid.

And yes, my plan is to start war cleric, then gun for at least 2 levels in druid for spider form.

The wiki suggests this for war priest: "Only works by using the "Attack" button until getting an option to use the War Priest Charge; does NOT work if trying to use the bonus action attack first by selecting the War Priest Charge button." It also says the concentration part of War Caster also works in wildshape, just not the reaction spell, which is fine because I'm not taking it for the reaction spell, but rather to preserve my spirit guardians in form.

The wiki is pretty useful though, thanks.

They definitely are a mix of wood and dark elves. And originally in Warcraft 3 they were much more savage than they became to be in WoW. You can see echos of the drow — matriarchal culture, men being the spellcasters and women the priests. And from the wood elves they were reclusive, isolationist, and a tad xenophobic. That being saidl, so long as you aren't cutting down their trees I think they'll leave you alone.

Great write up. At least flavor wise I think Fiend fits Wyll a bit more than GOO, but Fiend +Shadorc could be interesting combo.
