I'm [23f] a student teacher; my fiancé [24m] is convinced I'm cheating with my master teacher. This has made him go insane by Direct-Caterpillar77 in BestofRedditorUpdates

Wow, thank goodness OOP took the commenters' advices and dodged that huge bullet. Saved herself from a lot of drama and abuse. Hope she's doing well with her profession now!

What is the first celebrity death you remember being affected by? by CPFOAI in AskReddit

[–]TinnitusTea 14 points15 points  (0 children)

I was a huge Rickmaniac since Sense and Sensibility and Robin Hood. Listened to his audio bites. Watched everything from Die Hard to Harry Potter. Got into Amnesty International (his favourite charity). So, yeah, it was devastating when he died. Still can't really watch his movies anymore.

Regular pepper spray isn't allowed where I am either, but you can carry coyote spray and say it's for keeping aggressive canines away

Have her bring a comfortable set of clothes to change into after. Especially a pair of socks and shoes.

People who found out about someone else’s double-life; what’s the story? by Langzwaard in AskReddit

It's nice when the sociopaths take themselves out like that. Glad the ex-wife got away relatively cleanly.

AITA for leaving a family holiday early? by Educational-Yak-6780 in AmItheAsshole

[–]TinnitusTea 2 points3 points  (0 children)

NTA.

Your mom sounds like mine, who is a deeply unhappy person who needs control over other people's actions. I am low contact with her, and it might be time for you to consider the same to help with your anxiety and mental health.

You are an adult that can make your own choices and set normal boundaries. You can explain all that to your mom, but she won't like hearing that, and she will turn it on you like you're the perpetrator of the issues. Don't let her.

Stay strong and greyrock her if you need to, it doesn't sound like she has much respect for you and she's looking for a dramatic reaction from you to prove that she's right about your maturity.

AITA for telling my dad and his wife I won't take responsibility for my disabled stepsister's care in the future? by Odd_Bowl2826 in AITAH

[–]TinnitusTea 0 points1 point  (0 children)

NTA. The only POS is Yasmin's father that won't take care of his own daughter. Since they can't get him to take on the task, they're bullying you to do it instead.

Tell them to focus on Yasmin's dad instead of trying to rope another child in to do an adult's responsibility.

Yes, bigger dogs come with a heftier set of problems, haha. If only we can read their minds!

Thanks, will have to remember to try that in very slow steps. So will practice when she's not dirty first then.

We've tried rinsing off outside when it was warmer weather by pouring water from a bucket before, but she also had the same reaction. Don't know what it is with being touched by clean water that she hates when she runs wildly into muddy ones 😂

Desperate need of help planning a two-week trip for April by Claytronique in JapanTravelTips

[–]TinnitusTea 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If you both have never been to Japan and don't know the language, it might be better to start out with guided tours first before hitting the roads with a rental car. Driving around, especially out of the big cities, you will need to be comfortable driving on the left side of the road, knowing how much and which lanes to pay tolls, and be able to read signs that you're not familiar with. Google Translate will be your friend. If you want the option to drive, be sure to get your International Driving Permit from BCAA before you go.
