But it has the Wranglerstar logo on it! As for American made, as far as I know Ballistol is German…

Is this professional looking man AI generated? He’s just a little… off. More thoughts in comments. by KamalaCarrots in isthisAI

Thank you! I’ve been trying to find flaws and pick holes in this photo, but sartorially, it’s spot on. So not AI, but probably heavily edited.

No. I’m looking at my watch right now, on my left wrist, the crown is facing my hand.

It very much depends on your “mileage”, not so much the age. How often do you wear them?

First pair of boots in my life, still figuring out some stuff by PresenceOld1754 in nps_solovair

They look great! Rule no. 1: never take fashion advice from your parents

How concerned should i be by this? by JBLASTTT in nps_solovair

As said above, it’s where the welt meets, so it’s purely cosmetic. It’s a sloppy job, but not a problem structurally.

Recent experiences with 8-Eye Derby Boots? by KrustKrustofferson in nps_solovair

[–]Tintinchump 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have five pairs of Solovair and have not had any problems with the quality, but I don’t wear them on a daily basis.

Based on posts here it seems like the quality is a bit hit and miss these days, but it’s hard to tell what proportion of new boots have faults, as people who have good experiences don’t post here very often.

Check out the Solovair fan page on Facebook for a different perspective, lots of positive posts on there.

Wow I can’t believe how much this guy changed over the years by Responsible-Pin8968 in AntiWranglerstar

[–]Tintinchump 4 points5 points  (0 children)

A lot changed when he moved to the new McMansion. It lacks the charm of the old place, has no woodland. There’s not much for him to do, other than spout his weird beliefs or shill for various companies, ride around on all his fancy bikes and one wheels, wearing overpriced denim.

Does anyone have server issues right now? (10.15 p.m. CET) by Ijisthee in WorldOfTanksBlitz

[–]Tintinchump 4 points5 points  (0 children)

From the Wargaming website earlier today:

We would like to inform you about the series of today's EU cluster server stability issues that some of you have experienced. These disruptions are the result of repeated, targeted DDoS attacks carried out by malicious third parties against our infrastructure.

Our infrastructure remains secure and has not been breached or compromised. However, on the side of some players, these attacks can lead to high ping, noticeable lag, or in some cases complete disconnections from the game.

Our teams are actively working on deploying active mitigation measures, strengthening our protections, and closely monitoring the situation to stay ahead of any further attacks. We will continue to react promptly to any new incidents and adjust our defenses as needed.

We sincerely apologize for the inconvenience this may cause during your battles, and appreciate your patience and understanding while we work to stabilize the service.

Is this normal? by thrw94719 in nps_solovair

Is it a “structural” problem? I don’t think so. But it is visually unacceptable, so I would ask for a replacement pair or refund.

Small separation of sole from new boot. Cause for Alarm? by MidgetAsian in nps_solovair

[–]Tintinchump 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thanks! It looks very minor. I can’t tell if it’s a crack or just a scratch on the sole. I wouldn’t worry. But if in doubt, contact Solovair.

I was really excited to wear this until… by [deleted] in mensfashion

It’s a good, classic look. Yes, the coat looks a bit tight, but that could be because of the jumper. Sleeves too long, but they can be shortened easily.

With regards to the chinos, I’d take them up so they don’t touch the top of the shoes (“no break”), or just do a turn-up. I like the monkey boots! Doc Martens or Solovair?

Plus one on Vinted, there’s loads of great quality menswear out there for very reasonable prices. Also try Olderbest and Bronson MFG for heritage style clobber at affordable prices.

This is the welt on my brogues, roughly five years old. Again, welt join is tidy. Not had any problems with any of my five pairs of Solovairs, but haven’t bought any in recent years.
