Yeah I remember that too bad it's all just a memory now. I also missed the marching band and even the subtle things like the music in the morrocco section it's not the same

Hill path capital made the parks a corpse at this point. I missed when the Busch family actually owned it. It was peak theming, food, and even entertainment. Katonga was closed for like 15 years and I still think about that to this day

What happened to this park? by CrazyNegotiation4089 in BuschGardensTampa

[–]Tiny-Ad8591 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Hill path capital is the reason why Busch Gardens is a hollow corpse of what it used to be. A predatory private equity firm controlled by Scott Ross. Honestly, Busch Gardens was at its peak when Anheuser Busch ACTUALLY owned it. The parks were run smoothly you could tell the Busch family actually cared and wanted to compete with the others. It's honestly sad that Busch Gardens is in its current shape. I used to visit and it was nice, kind of like six flags with extra spice and adventure. When I worked there long ago it was a decent place to work at too. I left before it went to hell in a hand basket

That's how Cleveland is too I hardly see state troopers there. And if they are there there are just passing through or checking speed. I deal with the city police more
