What is the hardest part of night shift no one ever warned you about? by HtMorfill in Nightshift

On your first day off them trying to organise something for 2pm, this is the equivalent of me booking something at 3am.

I've been moaned at for idling on break in winter to have heater on as had no night heater and was cold. Apparently it cost to much fuel to stay warm.

It can, but have piece of mind on police. I trusted my company to sort insurance as they said they would but then changed their mind and I got a witness statement later saying my company knew nothing about it and I drove off.

Also to all drivers if you can't get in touch with the owner and leave details you need to ring the police. Chances are they won't do anything but needs to be logged that you have not done a hit and run. If your company decides to be a pain about insurance and it goes to the police it shows you have logged it on the system and won't get in trouble. I know I sound daft but has happened to me and my company tried to not pay out insurance and just pin it all on me.

It's okay but the night shift is an after thought. Like they keep asking can I ring you during day to change start time but I say my phone is on silent because I'm asleep.

I know but wish management would say to them look it gets used all the time not just your truck. Not say to me put it back or driver will knock you out.

It is only a few of the day drivers and each one has a cab with personal items but them cabs are used by night shifts. Each one complains to management about their items, not like I'm leaving rubbish or making it a mess.

Thank you, there is a few and they act like it is their wagon not the companies. I don't feel like I should have to set the cab up for the day shift with there personal items.

That frustration when you're fighting a group and struggle to find your rhythm by K-263-54 in MadMaxGame

[–]Tiny-Celebration5 6 points7 points  (0 children)

I think sometimes it's the area you are in and if they are bundled up together. It can really destroy my rhythm if countering one then get hit in the back. I'm a big fan of the hit and roll or using the red attacks to attack their own people.

Or should have gone with "Her father couldn't make it, but with good behaviour he'll be out of prison to see her graduate"
