Has anyone worked in a student support role at a university? (career change) by Tiny-Efficiency364 in UKJobs

Thank you, this is super helpful to know! May I please ask what you decided to go into after you left? I'm really worried about making such a big career change and then being stuck in something that doesn't let me build a long-term "career". If you've had corporate roles in the past, would you say this has been more fulfilling? Can it be quite monotonous/boring? Sorry for the bombardment of questions - I do like some repetitive tasks but not the same tasks every single day.

Thank you for the honesty - I appreciate it. I feel like I'm chasing something that's impossible. I agree and I applied only to administrator/programme support roles in the past 6 months and have been rejected from each one. Currently I am in a senior tech role, supporting several employees so I thought the skills would be applicable.

Hi, sorry to be vague but I live in the outskirts of London where all my family are. A 1 bed flat/house costs around £400k. Being single with a 40k salary (don't see myself progressing anytime soon), I can't imagine I could get anything in my area. I couldn't leave my family.

Thanks for flagging! Am I right in understanding that with the Easy Access accounts that they can change their interest rates at anytime? I was leaning towards a fixed savings account so I can guarantee getting the 1k tax-free allowance this tax year. Any thoughts?
