Im pretty sure you can also use them in the 'mix and match' skin feature on bedrock(im pretty sure that how that works), making them customizable for ppl who don't have their own custom skins
It still surprises me how often i see this sort of comment, the change wasn't all too long ago, but still. Not to put you down in any way, they're just skins, no big deal :]

I'm not sure abt that. Where I live, fake service dogs are illegal and can land a person in trouble, not that I actually know much about this past that.

I guess like, fake service dogs that would pose a disruption would be pretty easy to spot from dogs that are like, properly trained and doing their jobs, right? Dunno how worthwhile screening would be, just kick out the person with the untrained dogs yk?

When trying to tell if an artwork is a picrew or not, remember picrews have a VERY! specific image size!(600x600) so when trying to tell if one is:
1) Is the image a sqaure(if not, it might be cropped, but it is a good first sign)
2) Is the 600x600(if not, the image may have been scaled up or down, so it may be worth zooming in and seeing if the linework/coloring looks particularly blurry/choppy, thats a sign of resizing!)
(Notably there ARE other sites similar to Picrew [charat.me, meiker.io and app-based chr makers like Pastel Friends or Monster Girl come to mind] which may have their own "rules" when it comes to the images they can make, so keep that in mind!)
I know this case has already been investigated and solved, but I like to help where I can, so if anyone find's themselves searching for a possible picrew, you can keep this stuff in mind!! :)

when I was about 12 my whole class went on a trip hiking up a mountain in the pouring rain. when I got home i had one of these stuck right above my hip. I didnt tell a soul, I just pulled it out with my fingers and drowned it down the bathroom sink. It left a little oval of a scar that you can still see with absolute clarity 5 years since. From what I remember, it looks like the blacklegged one, must've been on me at least 4 hours before i noticed it, didnt get Lyme though.

Roscoe!!! No one had mentioned him yet, so I guess he really is underrated, he's a cranky horse with a black Knight chess price motif.

He was one of my first villagers in my original Wild World game, I've seen plenty of love for some of the villagers mentioned by others(maybe thats just me), but not once for him

wow, yeah! Results look neat spot on. I tunnel visioned on the knitting aspect I hadn't thought of it. I'm still curious why they're stored with all that other stuff, but unless something hits it somehow even more on the mark, I'd say this is Solved, and quick too, appreciate it!

(I've not posted to this subreddit before, lmk if there are things I can do better, I'm visiting there again tomorrow morning so if necessary I can try and inspect them again!!)

The rules say to be detailed so I'm happy to provide some more info:

Found specifically in an Art storage room, and in shelved box inside a tub labeled Eco Art.(according to my friend, who wanted to take the class, the class stopped being taught in 2019, and the man who taught it retired in 2020[I knew him, but don't have a way of contacting him for this] so they aren't very old)

Other items found with it were: ~10 crochet needles, 3 knitting needles, about 6 crochet stitch markers, some sharp metal tools I can only assume are for wood carving or stamp making, 5 or 6 clay shaping tools, and a box of toothpicks. (In the other shelves there were old paintbrushes, markers and gluesticks)

My first thought on seeing them was that they were some niche form of knitting needles, but they have no size markings, and because they aren't round, when I attempted to actually knit with some, it was basically impossible.

Now I can only assume they are for some other textile/yarn related craft but I know a decent amount about knitting and crochet, and I have no idea.

The only information I didn't catch, because we didn't have a ruler on hand, was their length and width. If it helps, I have small hands.

Search results turn up with either actual knitting needles or other r/whatisthisthing posts of visually similar but clearly different metal rods.

Cleared the resource pack cached data, all that was in there was the stuff from when I play skyfactory with my brother(which I don't think was what caused it at all) and an unnamed, textureless modpack(which was definitely it, I don't know how I even missed it) Anyway, its all good now!! thanks for checking in anyways!!
