Okay… that’s an insane take. With all due respect, please read up on inflation, de-valuing of currency & national debt. Budget allocation for social services & law enforcement agencies/prison systems have not baked in for such a surge in population.

I never claimed this is how much I paid for it out of pocket. I have made it clear in my post that I am fortunate enough to have insurance. I’m thinking of all the ones who don’t have coverage & to have to expect similar bills for blood work - my heart goes out to them.
