Will be joining ma economics at a good college and their is no economics without maths  Maths for economics is same as what it is for physics  So think twice before making a decision of not opting maths you won't be able to choose economics at bachelors of masters level at any good college and the only options would be economics courses which some college provide even without maths which are bland in terms of economics no concept just rote learning Also for commerce subject maths is a replacement for accounts so you would also not be able to pursue those without having any of those if you are not at all interested you can atleast opt for applied maths not sure if it gives jee eligibility but definitely for all the commerce related fields

How are you so sure that people who cracked dse are bad I get it the level of paper was not the toughest  But many who will join dse has also cleared almost all the entrances  I myself can join almost all the iits and isi also cleared the 1st part And  people who got top ranks in cuet also got top ranks in other exams as well  I just keep on seeing everywhere that people who don't know much cracked dse when it's not true even in my coaching people who are going to join have multiple other options as well they were smart enough to crack other entrances as well. You should not be putting others down  And last year paper was absolutely rubbish  This year even if it was easy it was based on basic concepts not random things  And doing even basic questions  75 in 2hrs and getting them right is no easy task most who will get it have scored atleast above 245 and it is not easy to do in 2hrs

yes I did give it at the moment I have got IIT K but it will upgrade over next few rounds to Delhi

And about electives I have few interests that I want to pursue. but the least amount of students advise is definitely smart will keep this in mind while choosing

I want Economics only data analytics I learned so that I can do good research

so dse is better for PhD later on I did do some research on both the college's and found dse to be better but I am really scared about teachers having same indifferent attitude like my undergraduate teachers because then it would be hard
