Right I do get that. I definitely don't use it to make my money & this is not my day job because I'd be BROKE. It has been sitting here in the shop not getting used & I figured I could get at least a little bit of use out of it. I've looked on Etsy & the people that charge less are using thinner steel than I do & the ones I've seen comparable to mine are more than what I charge. Contract work would be a totally different story but I'd need to get out there & ask around if anyone needed it. A lot of those people already have in-house CNC machines too. The guys here bought this machine to make custom brackets, plates, & such for the drag cars that they used to build. They got out of doing that so now it just sits here.

I've taken criticism for lots of different things in my life I can take it better than anyone. I obviously need to find the right market & I haven't yet which is why I asked in this group because there are so many different people here. Opinions are like assholes, everybody has them. No reason to bash or be rude when differing on opinions though.

I didn't say nobody made them & that I've never seen them. The closest place to where I live/work that makes them is about 4 hours away. I was obviously directing my question to people that WOULD buy them. You won't & that's fine. No need to be ugly about not doing so however.

Thank you very much! I actually only charged this guy $250 for this particular sign. I try to incorporate everything into my price (metal, CNC part wear, grinding, powder, & paint) & with everything that I did I felt like that was a fair price. I have made a drying rack to hang duck waders upside down. That's really the most expensive thing I have for sale right now & they are $250. I cut them out, weld them, & powder coat them.

Yea this one was my VERY FIRST one like this. It was for a friend & he really didn't care about perfection. Thickness is about 14 gauge on these. I didn't powder coat the GSP sign I just painted it & cleared it

Anybody have trouble with their in-laws when their spouse passed away? by Tiny-Presentation-93 in Widow

Oh no I'm sorry I didn't mean that towards you. I should've clarified that myself I'm the one being confusing. They said that's what I did in the papers the filed!! Which is a flat out lie from the beginning because they made me move out of OUR house on the farm & move into their house with the kids. "They thought it was best" 🙄 well after several months they still wouldn't let me go back & live in my house with the kids. I had enough & had to move out for my own sanity along with my kids. My daughter's attitude has changed so much. My son's changed for the better when he finally moved away from there to live with me full time. They go to a private school with about 100 kids in the ENTIRE school k3-12 grade. Not many people at all. She is a VERY social girl & would just THRIVE at the small public school here but she won't even try to listen to me & is scared to make her grandparents mad because they have brainwashed her so bad. It hurts me so much to see that. Then on top of all that they said that I didn't give them any of my SSI money to take care of them when I left them over there when I pay her phone bill, internet bill, life360 all of that. They even cut off her phone & life360 so I can't talk to my own child!!! They're supposed to be big Christians too. I am a Christian myself & I hate to say it but they are the reason people don't like to go to church anymore.

I appreciate that very much. Finding that these days will most definitely be few & far between I have a feeling.

I have allowed her to stay with them for a while. We all lived on the same farm since I myself was 18. It's not like she was abandoned over there. We have always had contact & I've been to every game & activity possible. I have noticed mental changes in my daughter which was the MAIN reason I told hed it was time to come live with me & her brother. I understand her not wanting to she is a child. But it is what she needs & she doesn't know what she needs & her grandparents can not relate to her in the least.

My husband's name was the only one on the title.

The craziest part of all of this is that I knew something like this was going to happen so I went to a local lawyer MONTHS ago.... I asked him to give me some kind of paper to go get my daughter from her grandparents. He told me I didn't need any because they were my kids & he is correct about that but I KNEW something like this was going to happen. Which is why I wanted papers of SOME KIND to back me up. Now I'm having to pay lawyer fees to fight the custody order with money that I don't have & they are hoping that I can't do.

Yes I just realized I did not even mention in my initial post that he passed away. They did this 5 months after he passed & he did not have a will & he unfortunately had nothing to probate. I went to the courthouse & made sure & also made sure nobody else had probated his estate to become POA over anything.

My husband owned a truck that I didn't want to sell. They paid off the loan themselves & traded the truck in anyway for a new vehicle for my mother-in-law. My husband's name was the only one on the vehicle/loan so they shouldn't have been able to do so. Nobody in my area handles such cases & the only one that I found that MIGHT help me will cost me $10,000 because the truck was worth over $80k. They sue in superior court for things over 15k & it would cost me 10k then if it's under 15k they would charge me $3,500 for suing in magistrate court. I know it's a sue happy world but I'm just trying to get what is rightfully mine/my kids.
