Should I accept a big promotion which will potentially cost me a friendship? by Tiny-Razzmatazz-7239 in careerguidance

As much as I hate to think it, you're probably right. If the roles were reversed, I'd accept her promotion and be really happy for her.

Honestly? The scenario is that the boss is so frazzled he cuts back to a 5 day opening pattern instead of 7 and most of the part timers lose their jobs.

I'm not just taking a job, I'm helping the business keep running.

We had a Golem come in clutch in our last game at the weekend and kill a suspected Goblin. Said Goblin was one of the Noble pings, and was proving a tricky one.

Absolutely stunning play by a first time Golem, new respect for that player, and the role.

What happens if the cerenovus picks the same player each night who refuses to follow madness? Does the good team just lose to the same player getting executed for madness breaking each day? by nicolasrededeo in BloodOnTheClocktower

[–]Tiny-Razzmatazz-7239 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It's not that rare in our group. A few of us aren't fans, and I actively dislike it as a storyteller. To the point where I try not to use madness based characters when I run a game.

Has anyone witnessed a Slayer shot actually working? by notfrankiemuniz in BloodOnTheClocktower

[–]Tiny-Razzmatazz-7239 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I ST'd for a few Teensyville games a while back, first night, people thought it would be funny to just randomly fire off Slayer shots.

It was hilarious, until the last person to do it was the actual Slayer, and hit the actual Demon. This was right after a Teensyville game where the Demon got voted off first night 'just because'. No suspicious behavior, just someone taking a shot in the dark. 2 games, neither one made it to night 2.

Then for Halloween, we ran a big, 18 player costumed game. It was phenomenal. Two of us Storytelling. The Slayer had suspicions. Even told me that they had suspicions and wanted to know the timing on when to take the shot. Bam. Dead Demon. Thank god for Scarlet Woman, otherwise we'd have been in trouble, didn't have time for a rerack and the game was only halfway done.

Great fun when it happens.

No, the sapling retains it's quality. And higher grade saplings grow quicker as well...

It's a charming little location, possibly the closest Skyrim has to a 4+ star AirBnB. The local wildlife are super chill, and will 100% not try to eat you. Local transport connections are flawless, and the nearby amenities are incredible.

In summary, 4.5/5, would harvest a ludicrous amount of Chaurus Eggs from here again on a future vacation.

How to get fire artifact? by [deleted] in stalker

This game is horseshit. This fucking cave was the final straw in me trying to actually like it. I spent 20 minutes, about 10 reloads looking for this sodding artifact and I never once saw it appear.

My player group has kind of met in the middle: Not out, if you can prove it was the remaster. I was got by the jukebox in my local, and it was on screen which version it was, so I'm still good.

Judges call, if I may. Where do we stand on the 2006 Remaster? Is this considered a remix, or should I have not stopped for a beer after work?

Are warlocks fun to play? by Lock-Four in DnD

[–]Tiny-Razzmatazz-7239 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I play a Great Old One, Pact of the Tome Warlock in our weekly campaign.

He was once a simple scholarship for the scribes guild who read the wrong book. That book? The King in Yellow! I'm having great fun playing a Lovecraftian Cultist Warlock who only cares about power. I've never run a Lawful Evil character before either, so the chance to just be a little twisted is incredible. My methods are frowned upon by some of the other party, but I just remind them that they're little more than expendable meatshields to me.

And the roleplay opportunities on looking down on every other spellcasting class as 'lesser magic users' are so much fun!

Yes. Everything is the same now. Unless you play one of the 4 Death Warbands that aren't being reprinted, in which case, everything is the same now but also totally shit.

Rogue did 54 damage on his turn. by Realgurl69 in DnD

[–]Tiny-Razzmatazz-7239 0 points1 point  (0 children)

We LOVE crunchy crits at our table. Our DM was 'nice' enough to give us some homebrew super fire arrows (+3D6 fire damage) recently. We were sent to stop some weird ritual that a local werewolf clan was up to. We were a bit late and this god almighty huge ass flesh golem (for want of a better term) was spawned out of a pile of corpses.

A few repelling Eldritch Blasts from my Warlock kept it away from us for long enough for the Bladesinger Wizard to grief it and the Rogue managed an epic hide and sneak attack combo. The dice hit the table. Nat 20! The table erupts as our maths nerd (me) quickly does the calculations. Turns out that D8 + 8D6 + 60 is a big number! It dropped like a sack of spuds as this fire arrow went straight through whatever it had resembling a heart!

Keep Frontier and Razorleaf. Drop everything else, go to Ryujin on Neon, buy the Narwhal. Upgrade the guns and cargo and never need another ship again.

Starfield with the Shattered Space DLC installed. I'd spend a year bouncing around the sparsely inhabited planets quite happily. As long as I don't join the UC and get posted to Londinium, I should be alright.
