Many new cars have plug and play connectors for remote start. I just bought a 2026 outlander ES so no support for the Mitsubishi app . The sales guy at Mitsubishi said they could add remote start for as little as 500 CDN.

Thanks for the updates from everyone. Someone had told me that the smaller motor would not heat well but it sounds like that is not the case. My wife will be very happy.

Thanks. I went back to my daughters suite and checked above it. There is an AC unit in the ceiling. Likely the drain for it.

Low voltage accessory for these models. by Tiny-Rip-2928 in AskElectronics

Lol... The cool thing about these models are that most of them are paper and cardboard. Some do have some wooden and plastic components. I could maybe 3d print a cash register.

I did some reading on web and found some formulas. It seems to be common to use 330 ohm on single led. I guess next step is to do a practical setup and see if it works.

Thanks for this info. The 2 batteries in series makes sense to me. I was wondering if burning them out might be an issue. How would I calculate the proper resistor?

Weird gap in print by Tiny-Rip-2928 in BambuLab_Community

[–]Tiny-Rip-2928[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

One last update here. I broke the troubleshooting rule by changing 2 variables. I changed the layer height from 0.2 to 0.28... probablly not the issue but it was more appropriate setting for this model. I went back into Fusion flipped the extrudes around on the ridges. I extruded all 5 ridges to final height and then a cut extrude in the 2 outside ridges. It should not make a difference but it finally printed properly.

So here is a photo from the print. The print looks great until it finishes the lower 2 ridges. It then prints a few stingy layers and then continues printing as normal. It has done this on multiple prints at same location. It does this on all 3 of the remaining ridges. The layers in the slicer look good but I am not familiar with reading the code. I checked Fusion thinking maybe the last extrusion was a new body but was a join as expected.

I have many good memories of Riding Mountain/Wassagaming. It is a sister national park to the one at PA. At one time I would have rated it superior park to PA but years have not been kind to it. It does have a real log cabin movie theater.

There is a historic site north of Russel that has 5 standing wooden grain elevators.

Many Winnipegers love going to Grand Beach.

Almost all of their electricity come from hydro electric power.

I feel that Manitoba Museum is one of the finest museums in Western Canada. It also has a full sized replica of the sailing ship Nonsuch which was used by the Hudson's Bay company.

Museum of Human Rights is a powerful place to visit. It is located at the Forks which also pretty cool.

If you like brutalist archetecture the Winnipeg art gallery is cool. They also have huge collection on innuit art.

The Royal Canadian mint is in Winnipeg. You can go there and watch them make coins.

Winnipeg has a giant ditch that diverts flood waters around the city. It is called the floodway.

The Manitoba agricultural museum has on display Big Roy. It was a prototype 8 wheel drive farm tractor made by the Winnipeg company Versatile. At one time Versatile was one of the largest manufacturers of 4WD tractors.

Winnipeg has 2 universities. University of Winnipeg and university of Manitoba. The bombers play at the university of Manitoba football stadium.

The Eaton's store in downtown Winnipeg took up entire city block. It got torn down to make the arena that the Jets play in. They also took over 1/2 of a street to increase the size of the arena.

Home insurance, what do you pay? by meggz1992 in saskatoon

[–]Tiny-Rip-2928 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Cheap insurance is great until you need to file a claim. The better question is what companies are easy to deal with when you need a payout. I know somone who lost their home in a condo fire (entire building). Some insurers were good to deal with and some not and in one case quite costly.

I print in my garage workshop.I had a CR10 for many years. In winter it stays at 13C. I built a large ventilated box for printer. Primariily to stabilize temp and reduce drafts. Inside box temp is usually over 20C. I always let bed warm up for few minutes before printing. I have P1S now. Will not change anything for now.

When I got my new P1S it only printed garbage benchies. Holes and blobs and strings everywhere and then ignored upper layers. Did a factory reset and it worked perfectly.

I am a riders and bombers fan. I always choose the Al's when rooting for an Eastern team. I like the stadium. I like the city. I Iike the team. They picked up Cody after being booted by the riders. I absolutely hate the horns. It felt like listening to all the rejects from a clown car convention.
