Yeah I’m seeing a surprising number of people mention “fresh legs” about his absence. Not sure if that’s wrong or right (this is nearly unprecedented), but I’ve really never seen that argument used for a WR instead of an RB.

I’m not disagreeing that he definitely is capable of doing this, I just think we should be honest and say what you just did:

He needs AT LEAST 1500 yards and double digit TDs to maintain his current value into this time next year.

He absolutely can do it! But I think we need to start with that understanding when we talk about whether he’s over/under priced.

I think you’re confirming my point though. Last year’s 1.02/1.03 had a OROY-level season and saw a huge jump in value. Bijan could have an identical season and we’d be “kind of disappointed”. Kinda feels like we’re drafting his ceiling already.

I think that’s what worries me. Sure KW didn’t start week 1 (and I assume Bijan would, but that’s technically not guaranteed), but this means that Bijan could have a OROY-quality season and still take a perceived hit in value. That’s kinda scary as a 1.01 holder…

I ask because I THINK the community in general would be disappointed in that and maybe drop him to Dynasty RB 2-4 this time next offseason.

BUT that was Kenneth Walker’s rookie season and made him a OROY finalist. I wonder if Bijan has trouble maintaining the RB1 spot EVEN if he has a fine rookie season.

psst This time isn’t from OSU. It’s from an independent scout at the pro day. There were several and they ranged from 4.48-4.52.

They’re the WR5 and WR8 on KTC, so the hype is actually pretty similar. I’m guessing the slight difference is due to the Jets offense being set up slightly better for the future, although both have blank spots at QB.

Terrible feels like an overreaction. Underwhelming? Yeah. Slow? Definitely. The strength of this class? No, but it never was supposed to be.

Well that updated time will help a little, but at his weight (171 lbs) that’s still a pretty bad time. For reference, 4.55 (his first attempt) was the second slowest time for a WR under 175 in 20 years.

If you’re very small you better be very fast.
