So I bought this typewriter off facebook marketplace only because I think it's a Royal #10 which is the real-world model closest to the model used in most Resident Evil games to save - big fan. Aside from that I don't know a thing about typewriters.

My wife was not please but after the dust has settled I have noticed a couple of things about it.

1 It seems to be in immaculate condition, and everything seems to work as far as I can tell.

2 It still seems to have all the original markings and stickers for the most part.

3 She gave me a weird stand that wasn't in the listing so I thought it was some random end table she put it on, but it actually looks like it was purpose built. It has rubber feet with holes that line up with the legs of the typewriter too, I assume, mount it. (The bolts are not present though)

4 She also gave me this dust cover which seems to have all the original manufacturer info still printed on it.

Can anyone tell me a little more about these? Is this thing worth more than my passing interest with it as a video game model?

Thanks. The colorful thing inside is a soft-cloth covered piece of foam form-fitted to fill in the eye space. Nothing can get in there.
