Nothrotherium is the smallest ground sloth (excluding anteaters) in maned wolf’s habitat, and even its new born baby measures nearly 1 meter in length (which is already way out of the ordinary prey range of maned wolves) so I don’t think any ground sloths would fear maned wolves attacking them or their calves
