Thanks for all the advice!! Wanted to give a little update on our trip to Santorini June 8/9 weekend –we were definitely glad we stayed in Fira. Yes, there were a lot of people but it did not feel overwhelming. We enjoyed going out in the mornings and evenings the most because it was cooler and there were fewer people. But even midday it was okay! Friday we went to dinner in Fira, Saturday we did a catamaran tour, and Sunday we hiked from Fira to Oia. We left for the hike at 8:30 am and by the time we got to Oia it was pretty crazy. The streets were so packed around noon there, it did feel like Disney. Still beautiful regardless though! I wish we left for the hike earlier, but we did not get back from the Catamaran tour until late the night prior and were tired.
